Red panda's are considered vulnerable because there population size has decreased over the years and is slowly becoming endangered. They say it is hard to determine the exact number of population but they are trying to find out. There tree climbing skills are good but humans are just looking and shooting them out of the tree. In 1999, in China there population is around about 3,000-7,000 but in 2001 it was 5,000 and 6,000 which tells you there population is decreasing and the humans are using there fur to make rugs, pelts, hats, etc. so it has been very hard for them to survive. The future will probably be them making a comeback and not being extinct and they would breed and let out into the wild and if you are caught trying or doing an hunting of there kind, you will be arrested. There will possibly be around 15,000-50,000 of them in the future.
