The first symbiotic relationship is between the red panda and the evergreen where it lives. This relationship is called commensalism because the red panda is benefiting with the protection from the forest, while the evergreen forests are not being affected. The second relationship is between the red panda and the bamboo and occasionally mushrooms, berries, and bark. This is called parasitism because while the plant is being harmed, the red panda is benefiting at its expense. Another symbiotic relationship is between the red panda and mites and fleas, where the mites benefit from them as hosts. Red pandas are harmed in this process, making the relationship between the two a form of parasitism. A mutualism relationship for the red panda is between it and a raccoon. An example of it is a red panda eats a bird and if it cant reach the nest, the raccoon could go and eat the bird eggs. It is a mutualistic relationship because the red panda is being benefited by eating the bird and the raccoon is eating the bird eggs
